Vehicle shipping in a container is a pretty big cost for us travellers. Besides choosing the appropriate shipping company or agent, container sharing would always be worthwhile.
The cost between a 20" or 40" container with twice the space is usually not much bigger, so you could almost halve the cost here.
At least for us travellers with vehicles around 5m long, container sharing is a good way to fill up the remaining space with a second vehicle and/or motorbikes.
On my blog here I have been trying for a while to link those who want to travel. There I register reliable agencies, agents and link the sharing requests from the various forums and social media.
But for us travellers, I have discovered a much simpler and clearer platform where you can submit your container sharing requests directly.

Behind it are other overlanders who make this service available to us without any financial interest of their own. The references are still a bit thin on the ground, but it's worth a try.
You have to register to go into detail, but maybe that's also meant to protect the users. Otherwise, you only see the number of requests for a route and not its dates.
Unfortunately, personal experience reports are few and far between. If you find any or have already used the service successfully, please write a comment, preferably with links to the blogs, vlogs or other available profiles on the net.
I think it's a really good idea - and hope that the portal will support us on our travels!
