An attentive viewer might have seen in the above picture that the stove is really small, as the manufacturer had even put a coffee maker & cooking pot on it. I seem to need a bit longer...
The wood cooker comes as a portable solution, with a carrying bag and is marketed by the manufacturer as a mobile tent cooker.
The key data: 11.8 kg and 31.5cm x 32cm x 225cm (L*W*H)
Price: 410 USD buy here
I had seen this thing several times before and rejected it again, I didn't really follow the numbers. As a layman, you would always have to imagine the thing spatially, or set it up as a cardboard model.
It wasn't until I was browsing through the vlogs that I came across Lonewolf 902's vlog, which has this stove permanently installed and shows us viewers just how small the stove is and that you really could cook on it:
The stove is of course again so small that you can only use small branches like in a small Hobo stove. In my eyes this is rather an advantage, you don't even need a folding saw, as branches of this thickness can easily be cut by hand.
But you also have to refuel regularly, or you can use wood or bark briquettes, which can keep the fire going a little longer. I hope that a company from the European hunting or camping accessories sector will include the stove in their range so that the shipping costs go down a bit.
As always: if you like the Youtube channel, leave a Like and subscribe to the channel, so you support the respective protagonists in addition to the advertising revenue. The two let you immerse yourself in their outdoor experiences and let nature take over the soundtrack. I'm looking forward to what else is to come from the two of them!
