Review: electric mini 6" chainsaw with battery

Review and evaluation: electric 6 inch cordless mini cordless chainsaw in the test! With 12v, 18v and 21v battery/accumulator packs, the chainsaw lasts a long time. Even 13cm thick branches can be sawn up quickly and easily. A great saw seasoned with a personal experience report!

Yes, we had to test and to review one of those tiny cordless mini chainsaw`s. Because we mostly light up a campfire at night, we did look for a timesaver for collecting wood, and to store wood. Our campfire was often too big, because we didnt saw the wood in smaller pieces.

At the spring of 2022 we did order that tiny and lightweigt battery driven chainsaw for the comming overlanding, vanlife and camping season. This tiny chainsaw can easily cut everything we can use at our campfire. The chainsaw is very powerful and cut tree branch till 13cm thickness very easily.

You can estimate the size of the tiny chainsaw on the picture above, tothether with the ecoflow river mini battery box. Of course, you could still achieve a smaller packaging size by disassembling it, but the size without the battery is enough for us to find several places to stow it on the travelling vehicle.

Can you just saw through a 13cm branch with it? Yes, it's quite easy, of course you shouldn't underestimate or apply too much pressure. But that turned out to be quite intuitive in use.

The motor should have an output of 650 W, the motor speed is up to 11 m/s, and the batteries have the following values: 21 V 2000 mA equipped. Whether the values are correct, I have not measured it. But I'm more than satisfied with the performance. In my opinion, the mountable side handle is indispensable for safe guidance, and the protective cover is also good. It's also great that you have an integrated chain oil dispenser that provides the necessary lubrication.

A video is linked in the link, which also explains the replacement of the chain well. The batteries are said to be compatible with Makita devices - but the 21v are not quite suitable for the cordless air compressor with 18v batteries, for example.

From me there is a clear buy recommendation!
