Which is the best air pressure for offroading at sand, track or rock crawling? Rarely has a video been so helpful in my eyes. Shauno shows very clearly how well the different tire pressures work and how big the difference really is. What tire pressure really fits is different. Weight, axle load, tyres, surface - there are many differences. You have to try what works best for you and your verhicle.
Overall, his values will work well for most vehicles in the 2-3 tons range. At least way better than driving without adjusted air pressure in offroad conditions.
This are the best solutions to lower the air pressure quickly:
- Staun tyre deflator kit (very quick & easy)
- Atsafe tyre deflator with Manometer
- Using a fuelstation before leaving to a trail (cheapie)
- using your air compressor equipment you should carry anyway (slow)
I did use any of these devices, they work pretty well. You can calculate between PSI and BAR Airpressure here: Converter
