Roadblocks in Peru: Live View

There are still many closed roads in Peru due to the current political situation.

Peru: Live view/real time display on road closures due to the political situation.  The Ministry of Transport has created a website.

For this reason, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) has put online a Road Emergency Viewer through the office of Provías. 

With this digital tool you can find out in real time the traffic situation and see if your planned route is affected or not.

You can see at a glance where traffic is interrupted or severely restricted. 

According to the first Sutran bulletin, the regions affected by the roadblock are: Piura, Cajamarca, Ayacucho, Áncash, Junín, Arequipa, Apurimac and Puno.

The image on the right is a screenshot taken on 31.1.2023. According to various reports from overlanders, the display is quite current and is kept up to date.
